Her birthplace was Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina is the given name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Her parents are Mexican and American. Ever since she was young, she's been very interested in participating in sport. Gerina began golfing when she was 15 years of age. Gerina attended Goddard High School. In high school she was the winner of in the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. She was also a volleyball player who competed at the national level. She enrolled in Texas's University of Texas, Texas during the 2003 academic year. She was the only winner of all events she took part in throughout her senior year. During the undergraduate years, she was awarded the Conference USA's player of the year as well as UTEP Female Athletic of Year.
